Simulation Center LF MU

The Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University is the most modern simulation center in Europe. It is equipped similarly to a real hospital. It has a helipad on the roof, operating rooms on the hospital floor, intensive care units, medical technology, and simulators. But that is not what SIMU is about. SIMU is primarily about the opportunities to try and experience all medical procedures firsthand. From the simpler ones to the most complex. Only here can you practice everything without endangering a patient’s life. SIMU is a place where making a mistake is not a sin, but rather it is a sin not to learn from a mistake.

SIMU is built on collaboration, and thus all academic, technical, and operational needs are provided by teams from two departments of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University, the Institute of Simulation Medicine LF MU and the Simulation Center LF MU. These teams are behind innovative teaching, complement each other excellently, and create one of the widest and best-trained groups of experts in their field. Together they form SIMU.
