Sample Journey – Explore the Depths of Modern Environmental Chemistry

We invite you to a tour of the laboratories at the RECETOX center, during which we will take a fascinating journey of a sample from its collection in the field to final analysis. First, we will introduce you to various sampling techniques that allow us to capture even trace concentrations of substances in the environment. Subsequently, you will peek into the laboratories where samples are processed, extracted, and prepared for measurement. A key stop will be our instrumental facilities, where we identify chemical contamination using the most modern mass spectrometers. Finally, we will focus on interpreting the results and practical recommendations on how to avoid selected harmful substances in our surroundings.
