Multimodal and Functional Imaging Laboratory CEITEC MU
Multimodal and functional imaging laboratory (MAFIL) is a shared laboratory that provides modern imaging services primarily in the field of neuroimaging and mapping the human brain, but also imaging of other parts of the human body. The basic techniques on which MAFIL’s activities are based are human MR imaging in a strong magnetic field (including MR spectroscopy) and electrophysiological techniques (high-density EEG, simultaneous measurement of electrophysiology and MRI). MAFIL’s expertise focuses primarily on functional and structural mapping of the brain (head), as the laboratory was established mainly for the needs of neuroscience research.
