RICHARD MÜLLER
Richard Müller is one of the greatest personalities of the Czech and Slovak music scene. He has won eighteen awards and seven nominations in the Aurel music poll, four awards in the Grand Prix radio poll, twelve times ranked among the best singers in the Slávik poll, the Krištáľové krídlo award, and album of the year according to ZAI.
He started as a journalist and publicist. While studying screenwriting at VŠMU in Bratislava, he wrote for music magazines Populár and later for Gramorevue. His first recording “Rádio” with the band Pavla Daněka achieved great success, which encouraged Richard so much that he founded his own band Banket with Martin Karvaš, with which he recorded four albums. The debut of Banket was in 1986 “Bioelektrovízia”. The album was full of hits, including the immortal song by composer Vaša Patejdla “Po schodoch”.
Since 1992, he switched to a solo career and has recorded a total of 20 albums, collaborating with names such as Jaro Filip, Peter Hapka, Michal Horáček, Milan Lasica, Ivan Tásler, Michal Pavlíček, Peter Uličný, and Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý.
In addition to music, he is also interested in photography. In 1996, he published a book of photographs America and fourteen years later Enter.
His latest projects – the CD “Hlasy” with the vocal group Fragile and the anniversary album “55” have gained recognition from the public and professional critics.
Exceptional talent, personal charisma, unforgettable voice, more than a million sold records in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and dozens of great concerts each year. All of this has made the lyricist, composer, and singer a living music legend.

Richard Müller (* September 6, 1961, Hlohovec) is the son of actor Vladislav Müller and actress Eliška Müllerová. His former wife is television announcer and host Soňa Müllerová, with whom he has a son Filip and a daughter Ema-Lujza. With his current partner Vanda Wolfová, he has a son Markus.
